Hi there! My name is Lindsey Stegh...
Looking forward to meeting you all on the first day of school Monday, August 12th!
Middle School Open House Night: Thursday, August 8
5:00-5:30 pm: 7th Grade Orientation
5:30-7:00 pm: 7th & 8th Graders walk through their schedules on campus
I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and have spent my summers living in Huntington Beach, California and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina since I was 12 years old. When I was 18, I moved to CA and began my freshman year of college at Cal. State University, Fullerton. Then I moved back to Ohio after my first year of college to complete my degree in Earth Science Education at Miami University of Ohio. Finally, I moved to Phoenix to begin teaching at Highland Lakes in 2008, and have been here ever since! During my free time I enjoy traveling, boating, and sports. I've spent a summer in Costa Rica learning about the ecosystems found there, a summer in Europe visiting the schools in five different countries, traveled throughout many of the United States, and Mexico. I have memories of watching sea turtles being born on the beach in Costa Rica, para-gliding over the Austrian Alps, hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, and watching a volcano explode live! Many of my memories and travels have helped to develop my love and appreciate for science and the outdoors :)
